In the second quarter of 2022, the Books and Reference category on the Android platform in New Zealand saw interesting trends. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 apps in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Audible: Audio Entertainment experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $8.8K in the final week of June. Weekly downloads showed a slight decline from 1.7K at the beginning of the quarter to 1.1K by the end of June. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 32K to 34K mark.

King James Bible - Verse+Audio saw a decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 1.4K at the start of the quarter to 830 by the end of June. Active users, however, remained fairly consistent, hovering around 25K to 27K throughout the quarter.
